Dr. Guindon obtained her Doctorate of Optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. During her time at Salus she also obtained her Master of Science in Low Vision Rehabilitation. She completed her residency in ocular disease and low vision at Jesse Brown VA and the Blind Rehabilitation Center at Hines VA. She joined the attending staff at Jesse Brown following her residency and became a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 2022. Although Dr. Guindon now works at the VA in Nebraska, she continues to lead a virtual journal club for the Jesse Brown residents.
