Dr. Guindon obtained her Doctorate of Optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. During her time at Salus she also obtained her Master of Science in Low Vision Rehabilitation. She completed her residency in ocular disease and low vision at Jesse Brown VA and the Blind Rehabilitation Center at Hines VA. Dr. Guindon worked as an optometry attending at Jesse Brown after completing residency and then transferred to the VA in Nebraska. Although she is offsite, Dr. Guindon continues to lead a virtual journal club for the optometry residents.
