Dr. Guindon obtained her Doctorate of Optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. During her time at Salus she also obtained her Master of Science in Low Vision Rehabilitation. She completed her residency in ocular disease and low vision at Jesse Brown VA and the Blind Rehabilitation Center at Hines VA. She then joined the attending staff at Jesse Brown and holds an adjunct faculty appointment at the Illinois College of Optometry. In addition to providing direct patient care, she consults with residents and students in a clinical setting and participates as a lecturer in the weekly didactic conference.
