Dr. Marciniak has been on staff at the Jesse Brown VAMC (formerly known as West Side) since completing her residency in 1994. In addition to acting as an attending in the clinic where she teaches the residents and students in both a clinical and didactic setting, she acts as the Student Externship Coordinator.   She also provides direct care to our veterans.

She practices part time with a private optometry group.

She currently teaches in the physical diagnosis course at the Illinois College of Optometry and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.  Dr. Marciniak has published several refereed journal articles, a book chapter, presented several posters and frequently lectures.  She also currently serves as a consultant to the NBEO for multiple parts of the exam including ACMO.
